Here is something so startling one cannot believe it at first. But then you have the case of Anita Moorjani to reckon with too (see my post)…

New Earth Journey

When following conventional methods, you must expect to get conventional results.

-Grigori Grabovoi

This Cellular and Organ Regeneration (CORe) work, founded by Grabavoi, resetting cells and reprogramming DNA continues to impress me. I’ve had the opportunity to assist perhaps a dozen people so far with their “self-healing”. One woman is actually attempting to re-grow her uterus.  Yes, this is in fact possible and has been documented in Russia. Why haven’t you heard about this? Why would you? It won’t further mainstream media’s nor its advertisers’ goals of perpetuating the “sick care” industry, nor will it make anyone any “real” money.

This regrowth is possible for my client because she believes that it is possible, and is focusing on manifesting this as her reality. Currently, this lovely woman is experiencing new sensations in her head (neural pathways being created perhaps) and also new twinges in her abdomen.

No one wants to…

poorly documented cases of spontaneous remission are rife on the internet

my neighbour across the street made it into the 6% of women who survive her cancer type

I find it disturbing when people assert these stories as proof of what they already believed

how come no one has one of these and it’s different than they expect?

Perhaps in these specific cases you are overreacting?
Anita Moorjani’s case is rather well documented. And she was not expcting anything.
Automatically refusing to believe anything that could bring evidence of something one has already decided doesn’t exist, is just the opposite extreme attitude, not a better one than the one you condemn.

this is a case of a person overcoming an illness that I followed and helped me in my recovery process

I followed his blog about his recovery efforts as he posted them

    so it’s repeatable by others

because his diagnosis through recovery is actually fully documented and explained

but more than that, it’s replicable by others with the same condition

    http://tech.gaeatimes.com/index.php/archive/scott-adams-conquers-incurable-spasmodic-dysphonia-voice-loss/

stories of surviving surgery and going into remission, as explained by supernatural intervention

does not help anyone because you cannot rely on miracles

    they are not reproducible

nor are the subject experiences that a person has

    so whatever happened to her

what she experienced is what her brain allowed her to interpret from her beliefs, life experience and expectations and her capacity to understand

while her brain was basically shutting down

the will to survive and our connections to the world
certainly play a part in recovery and the effort to survive

I am very sorry myself that I misunderstood your first answer. Thank you for providing me with this explanatory second answer through an example. I think I am getting your point better now.

Miracles too are facts, though, and as such they too ought to be studied. They do not all happen through what the beneficiary may interpret as some supernatural intervention. There are cases showing that the potential for sudden and very fast healing simply exists in our body, the question is how to activate at will that potential capacity that usually lies dormant.
